Pastor Eric and Kathy have lived in the Riverside area most of their adult lives. Eric worked in manufacturing and customer field service for a computer company in Orange County before being ordained as a pastor at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, where he served as an associate Pastor and a Harvest Crusade Director in the late 90s and early 2000s. Kathy worked in Aerospace before becoming a Pastor’s wife and serving in Ministry. In 2004, Eric & Kathy, their two Kids, and a dozen or more families launched The Brook Church in Grand Terrace, California.

A few years later, Pastor Eric and Kathy decided to return to college and complete their education. In early 2016, Pastor Eric completed an MBA and is now a full-time Community College business Professor at Norco College and pastoring the church. Kathy completed her bachelor’s degree in creative writing, is working on writing several books, and leads the women’s ministry at The Brook. In addition, they are both busy grandparents of a beautiful granddaughter with one on the way.
